Advertisement: Kyle T. Hurley

A small project creating advertisements in two dimensions for an artist promoting his album.


The goal of this project was to meet promotion objectives while retaining and complimenting the existing brand.

In keeping the design classic and inline with the client’s brand, it felt natural to use clear bold typefaces and utilising a slight grain.


We played on the assets supplied to us with the photo of Kyle T. Hurley and the album artwork yet utilising social icons as an injection of colour and modernity to juxtapose the vintage blues aesthetics — underpinning the quote from Vents Magazine, ​“a unique blend of ​old blues standards​ and ​new modern melodies​ of his own composition”.
